Hello, I’m Helen the founder of Soulful Woman Rising® and I’m delighted to invite you into a group retreat space. Day Retreats open space for like-hearted women to gather together, in a safe space in which to individually and collectively explore a particular aspect of ‘Self-Realisation’. For this reason, each Day Retreat centres around a particular theme, intended to help women THRIVE.

Self-realisation is a personal journey of self-awareness, self-transformation and self-mastery that gradually happens throughout our lifetime. Day Retreats are designed to add value to your personal journey through the sharing of wisdom, practices and ceremony.  During the day, you will have the opportunity to discover  a new aspect of awareness, cultivate another aspect of self-realisation and enhance a facet of your true self expression.

Inviting You Into The Sanctuary Of A Day Retreat

A Day Retreat provides invaluable time for YOU, away from the distraction and/or responsibility of daily life. It is a devoted space for you to consciously connect to and be with fully present with YOURSELF, as well as be in circle with other women. Being in circle offers a professionally held space for you to access deeper levels of self-awareness, transform through self-healing and expand through self-empowerment. I invite you to become your own healing authority; finding the courage to let go of the conditioned aspects of your FALSE self and reclaim an additional aspect of your TRUE self.

Introducing You To Thrive Cacao

During the day there is the opportunity to drink a warming mug of ‘Thrive Cacao’. As a fully qualified and insured Cacaoista, I am enthusiastic about restoring the value of plant medicine in the modern world. Ceremonial Cacao is a heart-opening medicine that facilities a deeper connection with all elements of ourselves. It can also enhance the guided journey experience and help us to be present with ourself from a place of love, understanding and compassion. Over the past four years, I have cultivated my relationship with cacao and therefore developed my own style of ceremony that uniquely blends other modalities that I am qualified in, including is Archetype Alchemy, Soul Alignment Medicine™ and Shamanic Womancraft practices.

 

Thrive Cacao is a ceremonial cacao; organic, raw and free from nasties and is GMO free. It contains an amazing range of beneficial properties, among these, are precursors to neurotransmitters. These chemical messengers affect your mood and can very delicately alter your mental perspectives. These shifts, although subtle, can bring forth an awakened emotional-intelligence, a door to personal transformation through inner journeying and self-love. If you trust, surrender and get out of your own way, then cacao can show you many insights. If you choose to work with cacao with commitment, she can be the bridge that awakens you to your personal power and encourages you to make simple changes so that you align with who you truly are and live an authentic and limitless life.

Day Retreat Framework

Delivering a proven framework that provides clarity, cultivates self-healing and facilitates self-realisation

As space holder and retreat facilitator, I offer a structured approach of knowledge sharing, inner journey guidance and proven practices rooted in women’s mysteries. This framework enables you to relax and helps you feel held and supported. My desire for you, is to be able to let go of the beliefs that hinder you, emotional patterns that bind you and unhelpful coping strategies that restrict you. This opens space for you to consciously connect with and align to your inner resources such as confidence, self-belief, courage and worthiness, as well as your innate gifts.

Opening & Creating Sacred Space

We begin with the practice of opening sacred space, so that we have a united container for us to gather together. This establishes a safe and protected energetic environment for all. Formally opening space ensures that we connect and are present from a place of reverence, grace and humility. Sacred space helps us to be fully present with our bodies, thoughts and feelings, as well as in the present moment.

Wisdom Sharing

Each retreat is crafted around a theme that relates to a particular aspect of wellbeing or personal development. This collectively clarifies and sets the intention for the day. I believe that wisdom sharing is a fundamental part of the day, as it provides essential context for self-healing and self-realisation. It is an opportunity for learning and encourages you to discern how the theme relates to you personally. Often, wisdom sharing is a catalyst for the flow of thoughts, feelings and/or sensations that may have been previously suppressed or repressed. Be reassured that only that which is ready to emerge from the shadows of your unconscious into the light of your consciousness for healing will present itself.

Relaxation

You will be gently led through a guided relaxation practice. The purpose of this is to deactivate your fight, flight, freeze response (sympathetic nervous system) that may generate resistance. By consciously stimulating your parasympathetic nervous system (PSNS) you slow your heart rate, helping you to feel relaxed and calm. Taking this time to relax and be present with yourself also establishes a nurturing physical, mental and emotional environment for you.

Guided Journey

The guided journey is crafted by myself and is tailored to the theme of the ceremony. You are guided into the landscapes of your heart, mind, body and soul, where the keys to self-realisation are waiting to be discovered. Through self-enquiry practices you can gently excavate and heal the unconscious limiting beliefs, emotional patterns or unhelpful behavioural patterns that are preventing you from thriving as your authentic self. Self-empowerment practices then encourage you to embody your authentic resources and gifts, generating lasting transformation.

Circle Share

This is an invitation to share your experience, but is an optional practice. Sharing our experiences allows us to be fully seen, heard and witnessed, just as we are; free from judgment and expectation. It can also assist with the  integrate of our experience and bring deeper meaning. Listening to the story of others, often holds much wisdom and teachings too.

Closing Sacred Space & Ceremony

We conclude by closing sacred space and the ceremony; completing our time together. Formally closing space ensures that we disconnect from our communal space in circle and return to holding space for ourselves in our own respective places.

The Benefits Of A Retreat Day

The benefits of a Day Retreat are far reaching into all the subtle crevices of our ‘self’ and our life. When we consciously choose to alter how we think, feel and behave, the benefits ripple into all elements of who we are and how we experience life. Personal benefits may include emotional health and resourcefulness that enables you to navigate times of change or challenge. Mental wellbeing is another consideration, that is generated through improved self-esteem, self-confidence, self-belief and self-worth. Life benefits can include healthy relationships that are mutually respectful rather than one-way, a dream career using your gifts rather than a role you settle for through fear of failure or a life of abundance in all its forms.

I recommend bringing with you:

  • Layers of clothing to help maintain body temperature
  • Yoga mat or something to lie on
  • Blanket(s) and pillow to keep warm and comfortable
  • Mug for your cacao
  • Bottle of water to stay hydrated
  • Journal and pen to name any notes of your experience
  • Anything else that you feel would enhance your experience
