Bespoke Retreat Day
Inviting time and space
just for YOU
Your retreat experience begins with an enquiry telephone or Zoom consultation. On this call, we will discuss your inspiration for visiting, aspirations for your day and how you would like to benefit from your experience. Together, we will explore the various modalities that I can weave into your Retreat Day and then determine your preferences. At the end of this call, there is no obligation to book and in fact I encourage my guests to take time to reflect on the Retreat Day offering we have designed before confirming a booking. Once a date and booking is confirmed however, I send out a personalised program of our time together with more information about the day.
The Retreat Day itself will be solely facilitated by myself Helen. Our day together begins at 10.30am and finishes at 6pm, with time for lunch and comfort breaks throughout. Before your arrival I will respectfully prepare the Bell Tent, as a safe container for your experience. My commitment to you is to create an energetically harmonious and protected space that facilitates relaxation, transformation and honouring.
Upon arrival, you will be warmly welcomed to and shown around Elements Retreat, so that you can become familiar with your surroundings. You will then have some time to get refreshed and settle into the Bell Tent. The Retreat Day will then be delivered in accordance to the pre-agreed program. There is an option to add an overnight stay to your visit too.
A Retreat Day is the ideal way to honour yourself or celebrate a birthday, anniversary or special occasion.
Rite of Passage Retreat Days
A Rite of Passage Retreat Day specifically marks a time when a person is initiated from one life phase into another. Honouring this transition with a ceremony is a heart-felt way of creating a memorable, meaningful occasion. Acknowledging ourselves and each other through such a celebration is a powerful practice. It provides an opportunity to reflect upon the experiences of the past cycle, as well as embody the wisdom gained.
A day that honours and celebrates the sexual maturation of a girl, as she steps over the threshold into womanhood. Menarche (First Blood) is a time of coming into our power and the opportunity to fully celebrate our bodies. This ceremony invites open discussion around any fears, apprehensions, embarrassment or shame. It is also an opportunity to be educated on the menstrual cycle phases. By being aware of the physical and psychological influences of the feminine cycle, a woman can consciously master the art of utilising her feminine power. This is a wonderful gift for young women to attend with their mothers, aunties, grandmothers or close friends.
A supportive gathering for an expectant mother and her friends. The intention of this day is to unite close friends and relatives in order to celebrate a woman’s fertility and her crossing the threshold into Motherhood. This day offers genuine support, provides encouragement and gifts love for the birth and her new life. The initiation into Motherhood often comes with mixed feelings from faith to fear, adventure to apprehension, delight to disillusion, all of which is completely normal. For this reason, it is important to have a safe space, free from judgment or expectation, where these concerns can be openly discussed. This is a wonderful gift where friends can provide reassurance, offer their blessings and create a birthing bracelet, infused with their best wishes for mother, father and baby.
Wild Woman Rising
In modern society, menopause is often viewed as a medical complaint rather than as a powerful ‘coming of age’. This initiation celebrates the cessation of the menstrual cycle which enables a woman to retain the power of her sacred blood to give her wisdom. Crossing the threshold into the Wild Woman phase of life can come with its challenges of mood changes, hot flushes, weight gain and sleepless nights. However honouring and embracing this transition (rather than resisting it through unconscious fears such as ageing), often make this passage more bearable. This Retreat Day is an empowering gift for pre-menopausal or menopausal women who wish to embrace their changing body and liberating stage of life. This can be a private personal experience or attended with close friends.
Wise Woman Rising
Pre or post retirement, a woman can feel invisible or disregarded, due to the emphasis that modern society places on youth and beauty. Crossing the threshold into the Wise Woman phase of life, is a time when a woman proudly takes her place as a woman of knowledge, experience and wise counsel. This retreat day honours the new role as Wisdom Keeper by celebrating a lifetime of challenge, growth and achievement. This is a magical gift for pre-retirement or post-retirement women who wish to embrace this phase of life. This can be a private personal experience or attended with close friends.

Cookery Retreat Day
Inviting time to develop
your cookery skills
This Day Retreat teaches you how to prepare and cook a plant-based lunch, salad, main course and dessert. During a pre-retreat telephone discussion, we will establish what types of food you enjoy eating and if you have any food dislikes that we need to avoid, as well as any dietary requirements or allergies.
Your day here will begin at 10.30am and finish at 6pm. The meal that you produce in the morning, will be eaten by you for lunch with the ability to take home another portion for you to eat the next day. The main meal and dessert that you prepare and cook during the afternoon can be taken away for you to enjoy from the comfort of your own home.
Depending on the time of year, we can also use foraged ingredients. This Retreat Day is ideal for those new to plant-based cooking or those who wish to develop their plant-based cookery skills.
